Echoes of the Emergent will be coming out Spring 2024, and will also be available on Catalog.
Content Information: While unrated, we expect Echoes of the Emergent to have content similar to that of a T (Teen) ESRB rated game. This includes moderate use of profanity, mild references to alcohol and/or cigarettes, and general themes aimed at a teenage or older audience.

I had a good experience with Echoes but wanted to query whether there is an error towards the end of act 3 with the attribution of conversation.
Catalog build 1.
Have screenshot of one example (spoiler heavy) but finishing the game wiped my save so it would at least serve as a marker if dev wanted to investigate further?

Yes, it is a Playdate exclusive.
Playing on the Catalog version. I wrongly assumed the game would autosave between acts and just lost 2 hours of reading. Might be worth displaying a quick message when beginning a game re: saving and loading.
We'll work on making this more apparent, sorry about that!
For others: pressing the B button opens the menu to save.

Really love stuff like that which works within the Playdate's limitations to create a unique aesthetic. Looks great.
Bloom was just absolutely stunning, arguably the best story-driven game on the Playdate, and the one game that kept me coming back for a long time. Looking forward to this one, keep up the good work!
